01

Grown indoors, year-round

Every crop is grown indoors with artificial light and climate control. Our proprietary growing technology delivers crops that aren’t affected by weather, with no seasonal gaps in supply.

02

Lighter on the environment

Because we grow 100% indoors, we:

  • Use a fraction of the water of conventional growing
  • Have no need for pesticides or herbicides

03

Better product, lower food cost

Connor’s Greens have better color, better flavor and last longer on the shelf than competing products. That means higher quality on the plate and less waste in the walk-in.

04

Certified food safety

We’re a USDA GAP/GHP certified grower and have maintained that certification since 2016, protecting your investment and your guests.

What are microgreens?

Small plants. A lot of flavor.

Microgreens are very small edible plants produced from vegetable and herb seeds, harvested while still young. Their flavors range from sweet to spicy, and their texture from melt-in-your-mouth to crunchy.

They’re also very nutritious: microgreens are said to contain 4 to 40 times more vitamins and minerals, ounce for ounce, than their mature plant cousins.

FAQ

Common questions

Something not covered here? Call us, someone picks up 24/7.

It comes down to how we grow and pack. Our internal processes minimise physical handling of the greens, and we pack them snugly. That creates a packaged environment that holds temperature and moisture better, so wilting starts later than with looser packaging.

Every crop is grown at the same specific temperatures and lighting conditions year-round. Combined with proper plant nutrition, that consistency delivers a premium-tasting product, harvest after harvest. We’ve also spent years developing our fertilisation formulas. We don’t grow just to hit weight in the shortest time possible.

We’ve been growing commercially since February 2015, following a two-year R&D process that developed our “hybrid hydroponic” growing methods. We’re centrally located in Houston, near Hwy 59 and Hillcroft Dr (77081).

Connor’s Greens is a USDA Harmonized GAP/GHP certified facility and has maintained that certification since 2016. To our knowledge, we are the only USDA-certified facility in the USA using 100% artificial light.
